My approach…

I follow the Faster process, which means I use scientific research to guide how I design sessions that suit each individual client, whether they are pre or post-natal, recovering from an injury, or want to be the strongest they can be! Through in depth consultation, ongoing review and feedback, and my in-depth knowledge of applied biomechanics, I am confident that I can design a fun, effective workout plan which brings you an experience you’d like to come back to!

I believe establishing body respect and finding a fun, flexible approach to your movement lifestyle is the key to long-term positive change. Removing the focus from weight loss and appearance, my mission is to help you FEEL like the best version of yourself. My sessions will always provide a diet culture free space, free from meal plans and punishing workouts. Of course, it can be great to challenge yourself, but allowing space for a mindful, intuitive approach can help cultivate mental and physical strength from a place of self care and joy for movement!

Why weight-inclusive?

As a weight-inclusive fitness professional, I aim to provide a safe space and relief away from the unrealistic ideals of diet culture, the harms of weight stigma and the risks of weight-normative fitness culture.

This is why I’m proud to say I’m a member of FPAWS - Fitness Professionals Against Weight Stigma - a group of likeminded fitpros who share the same goal: To break down the barriers placed in front of many due to the harmful weight-focused society we live in; and push back against damaging messages and discrimination in the fitness world.

How I can help you

Your personalised programme will bring together elements of resistance, cardiovascular, agility and mobility training; all guided by you and your goals. Learning to tune in with your body and find YOUR movement will ensure the most positive long-term outcome for you. 

Using scientific research alongside your previous movement experience and preferences, I will create a programme that provides an experience you love coming back to.

Programme flexibility is always a non-negotiable. It’s ok to mix things up and work with your energy levels and how you feel on the day, there are always options!

You don’t even need a gym membership! We can work in my private PT studio or outdoors, whichever you feel the most comfortable with.

What to expect…

Once we have completed your complimentary consultation, there are some forms to be completed before we can start.

If you experience pain, or have a condition or injury, you’ll need medical clearance before we can commence sessions. If it is undiagnosed pain or injury, it’s important to seek a medical diagnosis. This is so that I can carry out relevant research and build sessions which I’m confident will help you rather than hinder an injury or condition.

The first session with me is about finding your feet. I’ll guide you through a version of your programme, perhaps carrying out assessment if it is applicable to your goals (this is completely optional). I want it to be as relaxed as possible, and for you to feel comfortable to tell me if you hate (or love!) anything. I will go away and create your final programme from there. Of course, the programme is never set in stone, it’s about the long term process and we will constantly be making tweaks along the way. Oh, and importantly, there will be no sign of gimmicks or novelty techniques here.

I’m all about building your confidence in movement and helping you to get where you want to be in a way that fits YOU. There is the option to continue working on your goals at home or at the gym with an online programme too. Regular reviews will ensure you remain on the best path for you and most importantly, enjoy it! There is always room for flexibility to explore your joyful exercise, keeping the pressure off. After all, long term change is built on joy, not punishment.
